Conditions of use, subscriptions, and dispute resolution.
By downloading, installing, or using Mujō ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong .
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Mujō. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. Use og Mujō is permitted for personal, professional, and commercial purposes within the limits set out in these Terms.
Mujō does not require account creation. A device identity is generated locally and used to route encrypted communications. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device. Loss of your device means loss of your Mujō identity we cannot recover it.
The following uses are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of access, with potential reporting to competent authorities:
While end-to-end encryption means we cannot read message content, we reserve the right to terminate access upon credible evidence of prohibited use, and to cooperate with law enforcement to the extent technically possible under Hong Kong law and applicable international frameworks.
Mujō does not display advertising of any kind. We do not accept payment from advertisers to promote products or services within the Service. This is a binding commitment, not a policy that may be revised with notice.
Mujō is available in a free tier and paid tiers (Pro, Business, Enterprise). Paid subscriptions may be obtained through:
Downgrading your subscription to a tier with fewer permitted contacts does not delete existing contacts you will be unable to initiate new conversations beyond your tier's contact limit until you upgrade. Message quota reductions take effect at the start of the next billing or renewal period.
If you reset your device identity (Settings → Reset Identity) or uninstall Mujō, your tier reverts to Free. A valid license key or app store subscription must be re-applied on the new identity to restore paid tier benefits.
Mujō enforces limits on the number of contacts you may maintain simultaneously, and on message throughput, based on your tier. Limits are applied at the network level they are associated with your device token, not with a personal account. The current tier limits are published at mujo.parta.app/#pricing and may be updated from time to time with reasonable notice.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend, limit, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. In the event of permanent discontinuation of a paid tier, we will provide a pro-rata refund where technically possible through the relevant app store or via the payment method used for license key purchase.
Mujō and all associated marks, designs, and software are the property of æ Aeonian Engineering Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for its intended purpose. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on Mujō.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, æ Aeonian Engineering Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use og Mujō, including loss of data or communications. Our total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by arbitration in Hong Kong under the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
