How to connect
Two ways. Both leave no trace of who you are.
- Your contact shares their nickname with you — by message, in person, however you like.
- Install Mujō. Create your nickname if you want one, or skip it.
- Search for their nickname. A temporary pairing code appears.
- Copy it and send it back to them through any channel.
- They paste it into Mujō and confirm. Connected.
- Install Mujō. No nickname needed.
- Your QR code is on screen. Below it, a short pairing code.
- Copy the code and send it — text, email, anywhere.
- They paste it into Mujō. Connected. No names exchanged.

No account. No phone number.
Mujō does not ask who you are. Your identity is generated on your device and lives only there. Nothing to register, nothing to verify, nothing to lose.

End-to-end encrypted
Every message is encrypted on your device before it travels anywhere. The server relays an opaque blob it cannot read. Not even we can see what you write.

Messages that vanish
Ephemeral by design. Once read - or when you choose - they are gone. No archive, no backup, no cloud copy waiting somewhere you forgot about.

Connect via QR
Pairing is direct and physical - scan a QR code in person or share it through a trusted channel. No usernames to search, no directories to expose you.

Voice messages, images, video, documents
Send encrypted voice messages, photos, videos and documents directly in the conversation. Media is encrypted before it leaves your device and stored in fragments on the relay. Nothing is stored in a readable form, anywhere.

No ads. Ever.
Mujō is funded by subscriptions. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics, no behavioural data collected or sold. The business model is your trust, not your attention.
Private deployments
Mujō is available as a public app, but the same communication infrastructure can also be deployed for dedicated organizational environments.
Dedicated hosted instances, white-label applications and on-premise deployments are available on request for teams that need private, ephemeral communication without central credential exposure.
Private deployments can include API-based integration with internal workflows, dedicated operational boundaries and organization-specific distribution.
